Barrels on the Mohawk are a touch heavier than the rem. 600 still 18.5', better stock with the exception of the 6.5 mag and the 350mag these came with the birch laminate stock on both calibers. In between the Remington model 660 was issued somewhat the BDL version 20.5' bbl. Black tip on the stock and hand grip. Model 600 and 660 rifles - except those with a serial number beginning with an 'A' before the serial number - were subject to the 1979 recall. Each Model 600 and 660 rifles repaired under the 1979 recall has a “V” (approximately 1/4 inch high) stamped on the left side of the trigger below the receiver line. Remington dates of manufacture Remington made use of a two or three letter Firearms Identification Code that can be located on the left side of the barrel, just ahead of the frame. The first letter of the code identifes the month, the other letter(s) identify the year.

has a boyds classic laminated stock in nutmeg colour fitted as well as a steel trigger guard. will also come the original factory wood stock,original factory plastic trigger guard, as well as the factory front and rear sights.
approx 1980 build year and they are now quite rare.
some minor wear on the bluing but that is to be expected for its age.

One of the kind Remington Mohawk 600.
Front and back of the action are pillar bedded, also action and first 3” of the barrel is epoxy bedded with fully floating medium profile 18” original factory barrel. It has epoxy bedded Heritage Arms Aluminium trigger guard and Heritage Arms bolt release kit fitted (Model 700 style), 20 Oz trigger. Rear of the action had another hole drilled and taped to match 4 screws pattern of Remington Model 7, and is fitted with customized Burris XTR two-piece Picatinny basses. Beautiful original blond Beach stock restored and finished with 5 coats of True Oil. Fitted with Pachmayr vented recoil pad and Uncle Mike’s sling swivel studs - all in excellent condition. Very nice and accurate little carabine, scope and rings are not included - $1750.00 plus postage.
